Poker has real short-term luck: the best players lose sessions constantly. Two defenses keep learning affordable. For bankroll, play stakes where losing a full buy-in does not hurt. A common guideline is keeping at least 20–30 buy-ins set aside for the stake you play, and moving down when a downswing bites. For tilt, when a bad beat has you wanting to "win it back," that is the moment to walk a lap or end the session. Judge yourself on decision quality, the coach's grades rather than the pot, because that is the part you control.

Graduation checklist:

• Hand Ranking and Best Hand: 2★ or better on every level
• Preflop trainer: through Level 4 with 85%+ accuracy
• Odds trainer: through Level 3
• Postflop trainer: through Level 2
• Simulator: 300+ hands with the coach on, 75%+ sound decisions, and a session with the 20-second action clock
