Preflop: raise or fold
Most beginner losses trace back to playing too many hands and entering pots passively. When nobody has raised, either raise or fold. Limping (just calling the big blind) is the habit to break: raising builds pots you're favored in, can win the blinds outright, and hides your hand.
The charts in this app are the plan. Open-raise the listed hands for about 2.3 BB, defend your Big Blind often (you already have one bet in and you close the action), 3-bet your strongest hands plus a few chosen bluffs like A5s, and fold everything else. Winning players fold more than 70% of their hands preflop.
